Unit price perFor when you want to taste South America without leaving home. Taragui Naranja combines the authentic earthy character of traditional Argentinian yerba mate with a refreshing burst of natural orange flavour. This is Taragui's most exotic variety: smooth, uplifting and perfect for anyone looking for a fresh citrus twist on the classics.
What does Taragui Naranja taste like?
Taragui Naranja tastes like traditional Taragui mate, but with a delicious orange upgrade: fresh citrus notes come through straight away, while the earthy, woody base keeps everything nicely balanced. The orange aroma stays noticeable in every infusion and gives a lively, refreshing character that never becomes overpowering. You get the smoothness and energy of classic yerba mate, wrapped in a sunny citrus flavour that calls for cold water and ice.
About the producer
Taragui Naranja is made by Establecimiento Las Marías using their signature air-drying method, which eliminates PAHs. The natural orange flavour is carefully blended with the finest yerba mate leaves and stems from Corrientes, Argentina. More than 85 years of production expertise goes into every pack, backed by certifications showing that no agrochemical residues are present and that it fully complies with EU food safety standards.
How do you drink Taragui Naranja?
Taragui Naranja is excellent both hot and cold. For traditional hot mate, fill your mate cup three-quarters full, first add lukewarm water and then hot water at 70-80°C, and drink through your bombilla. For summery tereré (cold mate), simply pour cold water or ice-cold juice over the leaves and sip through your bombilla. The orange flavour really comes to the fore when served cold, making this an ideal choice for warm weather and relaxed moments outdoors.
